Masons in our community

We've been part of Cowlitz County from the start. Our oldest Lodge was formed before Washington became a state and our youngest is almost 100 years old.

In all those decades, we've been involved in many community events or groups. Here is a small sample.

Education

  • Bikes for Books
  • LCC scholarship
  • Junior Achievement Awards

Seasonal events

  • Mother's Day event for Masonic wives and widows
  • Longview's Go Fourth parade in July
  • Summer picnics
  • Solstice Lantern Walk (December, hosted by Friends of Galileo Astronomy Club)
  • Christmas Tree Lodge (December at Woodland-Kalama Lodge #17)

Charitable groups

  • Belly Brigade
  • CAP - Community Access Program
  • Salvation Army
  • Shriner's Hospitals (did you know the Shriner's are a Masonic organization?)

... And our members engage in many acts of private charity that few hear about.

To be one, ask one.
